Retail Customer Support Representative

SeeKing HR, a comprehensive human resource consulting firm providing strategic guidance, program management, employee development and employment services to a variety of clients, is sourcing candidates for a Retail Customer Support Representative position for a broadband and cable television provider servicing multiple markets based out of Comfort, Texas.
The Retail Customer Support Representative is responsible for providing appropriate resolution to new and existing customer inquiries and assists in general office administration in a professional, courteous and accurate manner.
Qualified candidates will have:
o High school diploma or equivalent.
o Visual acuity, speech and hearing.
o Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
o Experience in customer service or sales with extreme attention to detail.
o Ability to multi-task and take direction from multiple people.
o Ability to adapt quickly to changing and evolving technology.
o Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
o Strong desire to work in a small business environment.
o Demonstrated dependability by adhering to flexible break and lunch schedule.
o Understanding of broadband, cable television, and VOIP technologies, strongly preferred.
o Bilingual in English/Spanish, strongly preferred.
Responsibilities include:
o Responds to customer sales/support requirements via telephone, email and internet or in person.
o Educates customers on available services while demonstrating account ownership.
o Troubleshoots customer issues for resolution and generates work orders for field service as required.
o Processes electronic and manual payments, refunds, rebates and return items.
o Works with customer to resolve delinquent and final accounts.
o Reviews and processes receipts and generates correspondence regarding billing disputes.
o Assists in the processing of monthly billing statements.
o Facilitates scheduling of installation, service and disconnect work orders.
o Interfaces with field technicians to support customer.
o Participates in and supports the development and implementation of special projects.
o Serves as overflow for sales and support requests from local field office.
o Maintains project files and records.
o Assists in the preparation of reports.
o Supports Sales/Marketing initiatives.
o Other duties as assigned.
This position may be required to work hours other than regular schedule including shift work (weekends and holidays). The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
